A residential unit caught fire on the 26th floor of Block 293D, Bukit Batok Street 21 on July 18.
70 people were evacuated
According to a Facebook post, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) firefighters responded to the incident at 12:40 am.
They wore breathing apparatus sets before forcibly entering the apartment unit, which was "heavily smoke-logged".
SCDF revealed that items in the apartment's living room had caught fire.

Firefighters managed to put out the fire with two water jets.
70 people from the affected block were evacuated by SCDF and Singapore Police Force (SPF) officers.
Three people rescued from unit
Two men and a woman were rescued from the unit.
The first man, who was found unconscious with burn injuries, was sent to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital. The woman was conveyed to Singapore General Hospital for smoke inhalation.
In addition, an elderly man was also evacuated from the apartment. He was injured during the process of evacuation, and was sent to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital.
SCDF is currently investigating the cause of the fire.
