If getting new towels, floor mats and handkerchiefs is part of your Chinese New Year routine, you might want to consider getting these household items from stall No. 183 at Chinatown Complex.

Stall holder supporting two disabled sisters

Several Facebook posts have been making the rounds online since Jan. 17 informing the public about one Mr Yoong who runs stall No. 183 at Chinatown Complex.

In summary, Yoong sells towels, floor mats and handkerchiefs as his only source of income to support himself and his twin sisters who have muscular dystrophy.

He has been running this stall as the sole breadwinner of the family since his parents passed away.

Both sisters are unable to take care of themselves or communicate well.

One of them stays in a charity nursing home, Cheshire Home, while the other sister stays at home which is a unit just above the complex.

Furthermore, renovations at Chinatown Complex will begin this coming March.

As a result, Mr Yoong's stall will have to close for three months.

The call online is for members of the public to help Mr Yoong to accumulate some money to tide through the next few months.

Here's a screenshot of the post with a photo of Mr Yoong at the stall:
