Former DJ and YouTuber Darryl Ian, more commonly known as Dee Kosh, has been released from prison after serving 32 weeks for sexual offences involving teenage boys.

Dee Kosh took to Instagram and posted several Instagram stories and a video, teasing that he has much to tell and explain.

Back again

Dee Kosh posted a video on Instagram that said "Begin" before showing a montage of all the news and videos surrounding his criminal case.

He wrote in the captions: "Finally home".

In his Instagram stories, Dee Kosh posted a clip from the popular reality television series RuPual's Drag Race captioned, "Hello Instagram".

In his next story, Dee Kosh "address[ed] the elephant in the room".

"So Covid no more already, is it?" He asked.

He shared that they still wore masks while in jail despite the relaxation of mask-wearing rules since Feb. 13, 2023.

Welcomed back

Dee Kosh's comments on his Instagram page had numerous netizens welcoming him back.

Some even commented that this is a fresh start and second chance for him.

OnlyFans creator Titus Low also commented on Dee Kosh's video, welcoming back the YouTuber.

Low shared in a TikTok video that he had met Dee Kosh in prison, and Dee Kosh had given him advice on how to survive prison.

Low was jailed for three weeks for breaching a police order in October 2022.

He was also fined for uploading obscene materials to OnlyFans.

Pleaded guilty to three charges

On May 30, 2022, Dee Kosh pleaded guilty to one count of sexual exploitation of a boy under the age of 18, one count of offering money to a boy below 18 for sexual services, and one count of making an obscene film.

The scandal involving Dee Kosh broke out in August 2020 by an Instagram user.

The user came forward and alleged that Dee Kosh had asked him for nudes and sexual favours under the guise of recruiting him as a YouTube talent.

At least four more youths corroborated the first person's allegations with similar accounts.

Dee Kosh denied the allegations but later admitted that there was "truth to some" of the allegations.

Dee Kosh began his prison sentence on Aug. 5, 2022.
