A Malaysian saleslady, who wished to be known as Lee, found herself on the raw end of a deal when her agreement with a woman on WeChat took a turn for the worse.

Supposed to earn RM15,000

Lee had been approached by Ting via WeChat on July 5, 2019.

Ting wanted Lee to send over a photo of her feet (with her face in the picture) for RM35 (S$11.50) and a photo of her buttocks (with her feet in the picture) for RM80 (S$26.60).

Lee was told that the pictures would be distributed on Chinese websites that Malaysians could not access.

According to The Star, that soon escalated to even more provocative poses.

She was offered RM500 (S$164) for a nude photo, and RM1,000 (S$328) for a nude video.

Lee ended up sending 20 photos, and five videos.

According to The Sun Daily that was supposed to net her RM15,000 (S$4,935).

Unfortunately, the transaction wasn’t as smooth as she might have hoped for.

Got blackmailed instead

During a press conference on July 10, 2019, held by MCA Public Services and Complaints Department head Datuk Seri Michael Chong, Lee revealed how Ting had cheated her of her money.

When Lee turned down Ting’s next request for a masturbation video, things turned ugly.

Ting threatened to leak the photos and videos Lee had sent her if Lee did not give her RM800 (S$263).

Unfortunately, Lee was unable to cough up the sum.

According to The Sun Daily, this resulted in Ting claiming she could arrange for Lee to be prostituted out to get the money needed.

That’s when Lee decided to go to Chong for help.

At the end of the press conference, Chong urged all victims to come forward, and not be cowed or succumb to the demands of blackmailers.
