The marriage between Sultan Muhammad V, the Sultan of Kelantan, and Oksana Voevodina, Russian model and beauty queen, is over.
The divorce was finalised on July 1, after it was allegedly filed on June 22, at the Syariah Court Singapore.
This is according to The Malaysian Insight.
The marriage had lasted for just over a year, as they reportedly got married on June 7, with photos of their marriage going viral only in November 2018.
In response to media queries, Syariah Court Singapore said there are no records of divorce filed by the couple.
Divorce of the greatest severity
The News Straits Times (NST) reported that the divorce was a "talak tiga” or talaq baayin divorce, which is the most severe form of divorce in Islam.
Known as the irrevocable divorce, the couple cannot remarry unless the woman marries another man who then, either divorces her of his own free will or dies.
A copy of the divorce certificate circulating online has since been confirmed to be genuine.
Sultan Muhammad V is 50, while Voevodina is 26.
No mention of the divorce made on social media
However, it appears that no mention of the divorce has been made on Voevodina's Instagram account, which has 14 posts in total and more than 362,000 followers.
Voevodina's latest post was on July 10, in which she briefly described her background in Malay and English.
The Malay portion of her caption also mentioned her marriage and the birth of her first child, whom she described as the crown prince of Kelantan, and potentially, the future king of Kelantan.

And here is a translation of the Malay portion of the post:
"Greetings to my respected followers. I want to tell you a little more about myself. My name is Oksana and I was born on 10 July 1992 in Astrakhan, Russia. Today is my 27th birthday. I was raised and educated in Taganrog, in Rostov-on-Don. When I was a teenager, I went to summer school in Oxford to learn English. In 2009, I became a student in Plekhanov Russian University of Economics. I received my bachelor's degree in economics in 2013. In 2015, i won the Miss Moscow beauty pageant. Not long from then, I entered the fashion industry. I created a swimsuit brand. At the same time, I also opened a beauty salon in Moscow. In 2017, I moved to KL. I got married in June 2018 and in May 2019, I gave birth to my son Ismail Leon, the crown prince of Kelantan, and if god wills, the future King of Kelantan."
Voevodina's father also boo-booed talks of the couple's divorce in January.
Andrei Ivanovich Gorbatenko, an orthopaedic surgeon, said: “it’s nonsense. I do not read the Internet, but I would have been the first to know.”
Kelantan royal household issues statement allegedly in response to Voevodina
Subsequently, the royal household of Kelantan issued a statement on July 16, in which it stated that no one can be referred to as the "Permaisuri of Kelantan", "Raja Perempuan Kelantan", "Sultanah Kelantan" or the "Queen of Kelantan" without any official announcement from the palace.
Sources were quoted as stating that Voevodina's post had also perturbed members of the royal household.
The Malay Mail added that the statement also clarified that it was Sultan Muhammad V's mother who held the title of Queen in Kelantan, and that it was his younger brother who held the title of crown prince of Kelantan:
"Yang Teramat Mulia Dr Tengku Muhammad Faiz Petra Ibni Sultan Ismail Petra is the Tengku Mahkota of Kelantan and His Highness Sultan Muhammad V's mother, Yang Maha Mulia Tengku Anis binti Almarhum Tengku Abdul Hamid is titled Raja Perempuan Tengku Anis."
However, no official statement has been issued by the Kelantan royal household regarding the divorce.
