Another omurice restaurant has popped up in Singapore.

At Omurice Keisuke, prices start at S$9.90 for mains — either omurice or spaghetti.

For the first option, a rich, creamy omelette blankets fried rice that is cooked with chicken and corn and seasoned with ketchup dashi.

Diners can pick one of four different sauces — wafu, demi-glacé, chilli tomato sauce, and creamy white sauce — to go with their dish.

Go with spaghetti, and you've got a choice between mentaiko and neapolitan flavours.

Alternatively, get the Omurice Combo, where you can have both rice and spaghetti for S$12.90.

This comes with sides of miso soup and four different types of salad to choose from — coleslaw, potato salad, green salad, or boiled spinach with Japanese dashi stock.

Add a serving of mozzarella and two types of cheddar cheese to your meal for S$2.00.

You can also choose to upsize your portions for free.

If that's not enough, add on sides like ebi, pork spare ribs, teriyaki chicken hamburg, and fried chicken wings for between S$2 - S$3 each.

Omurice Rice from $9.90 in Bugis? The latest concept by Keisuke Group will open at Bugis+ tomorrow at level 4, and we think that it is a pretty good value addition to the mall. This is the combo set ($12.90), where you get a mix of the omurice and a choice of spaghetti (we had Mentaiko), along with your customised pasta sauce. Each set also comes with a salad and soup, with an option to add on cheese for additional $2!

Note that it's a 22-seater restaurant, so be prepared to wait for a seat, and even more likely, your meal (no reservations allowed).
