According to the video, the taxi was first spotted beating a red light.

And just ahead of the red light, two pedestrians were dashing across the road in the rain.

The driver hit one of them.

The second pedestrian immediately dropped his plastic bag on to the road, and ran to attend to the one who was hit.

Others, such as the passenger in the taxi as well as another nearby person, also came to assist.

The driver was not seen in the video.

In Singapore, the fine for beating a red light is S$200 for light vehicles. The driver is also given 12 demerit points.
