In true Singaporean style, we don't always call the open space located on the ground floor of HDB flats as "void decks".
We say "your house downstairs", because it's more straightforward like that.
Photo series featuring void deck windows
And that's exactly the name of a Facebook photo album showcasing various wall features that are commonly found in the void decks of HDB flats all over Singapore.
The photos are part of a series by Jonathan Tan, an account manager in an advertising agency in Singapore.
Here's one at Yishun, for instance:
This octagon-shaped feature is at Choa Chu Kang:
And this is in Taman Jurong.
This one is located in Bedok and reminds us of tulips.
While this perfectly circular pink one can be found in Hougang:

Started in 2015 just for fun
Speaking to Mothership, Tan shared that he chanced upon one of the wall features near his home and took a photo of it just for fun sometime around February 2015.
He then found another one a few minutes later and since then, started to take special notice of these "hole-in-a-wall" features when travelling around Singapore.
Up until September 2016, Tan said he spent part of his weekends visiting random HDB estates to hunt for more of them.
But that's not the end of the "Your House Downstairs" series, as Tan hopes to look for more interesting designs.
"I may start looking for more again in the near future when I've time over the weekends!"
You can check out his Instagram page for more of "Your House Downstairs".
This cool project is also by him:
