This is the story of a WhatsApp bro named Xiao Andy, who broke the bro code for $100

Hello, my name is Xiao Andy.

The bro code has many commandments — thou shalt not cock block thy bro, thou shalt not hit on thy bro's girl etc.

Here's another equally important rule in the bro code: thou shalt return any money you borrow from a bro to that bro on time.

Alas, one Xiao Andy (no really, he calls himself that) appears to have committed a severe breach of this particular rule, hence leaving his (ex) bro Soon Wei Chiang no choice but to sever the brolationship and put up the following public warning post against him on Facebook (screenshots posted individually below):

Long story short: Xiao Andy had borrowed S$300 from Soon on Aug. 28, and promised to return a partial amount of S$200 by Sep. 5 — this he did.

Xiao Andy then promised to return the remaining S$100 on Sep. 23, but that never came to pass, according to Soon. The deadline was then changed to the end of the month, a period he said he would be able to borrow from others to pay Soon once their pay day arrived.

When that time rolled round, however, Xiao Andy suddenly whipped out a series of excuses to evade payment.

Here's the series of WhatsApp screenshots, which started with lots of affectionate "bro"-calling and even a heart emoji:

This is where it starts to go downhill:

And then Xiao Andy stopped replying altogether:

Xiao Andy strikes back:

Ok. We're also assuming "very unless" translates to "very useless", unless "unless" is some newfangled insult we're too old know.
