High fashion has had its fair share of quirks, from Hello Kitty handbags for men to Pikachu and Jigglypuff bags and boots.

"Maggi mee" heels

In the latest instalment of quirky high fashion designs, Italian high fashion house Bottega Veneta has unveiled a pair of heels that look strikingly like uncooked instant noodles.

Here they are, in open-toe mule and boot forms:

According to HypeBae, the heels are part of the designer label's pre-fall 2020 collection that was designed by 2019 British Fashion Awards winner Daniel Lee.

While they are not available for sale online and in stores yet, one can check out the full collection of clothes, shoes and bags here.

Be prepared to pay upwards of at least S$1,000 for a pair of heels, which is the average price of footwear from the Italian brand.
