Five Guys opened its doors in Singapore on Dec. 16, 2019, at 11am.
The American burger joint is located at the first floor of Plaza Singapura, and has both indoor and outdoor seating areas.
Only indoor seating is available at the moment, though.
In anticipation of the eatery's opening, there was already a snaking queue at 11:30am, shortly after it opened.
At around 12:30pm, the queue was still going strong.
The queues started at the outdoor area (under the shade), and coiled around building, almost reaching inside the mall.
Closer to 1pm, the queue has shortened slightly, although there was still a substantial number of people waiting.
At least 60 people were estimated to be in line.

You can get (practically) unlimited toppings for your burger and milkshake for free, in case you didn't know.
Fast food heaven
This year, Singapore has welcomed both Shake Shack and Five Guys to its shores — American burger chains that have made international names of themselves, and which are generally regarded as a step up from McDonald's.
Another name to complete the trinity will be In-N-Out Burger, which held a pop-up in Upper Thomson earlier this year.
