In a Facebook post on Oct. 29, 42-year-old local artiste Belinda Lee announced her marriage to American architect, David Moore on Sunday (Oct. 27).

Lee wrote that she "finally found love" and hoped people would be happy for them.

According to Toggle, close friends and family members of the newly-wed couple attended an intimate solemnisation and dinner at a Peranakan restaurant.

They witnessed the exchange of vows "in a bower of natural twigs and greenery" and the restaurant was "adorned with brilliant cymbidium orchids of canary yellow, pink and green".

Lee also said, “All the waiting for my soulmate was worth it. It is never too late to discover love.”

Many local celebrities have also left congratulatory messages on Lee's Instagram, such as Huang Bi Ren, Christopher Lee, Andie Chen and Michelle Chong.

Friends from the showbiz also posted about the wedding ceremony after Lee has announced her marriage publicly.
