Sushiro (not to be confused with this Japanese eatery at Thomson Plaza) is Japan's largest conveyor-belt (kaiten) sushi chain with a record of selling approximately 1.36 billion sushi plates every year.
First outlet in Singapore
Sushiro currently has more than 530 outlets in countries like Japan, Korea and Taiwan, and will be opening their very first Southeast Asian outlet in Singapore on August 19, 2019.
Although over 600 new dishes are developed each year, only 70 get launched on menus after a stringent selection process.
The chain's Singapore store will offer over 100 different sushi and side menu dishes from S$2.20, with exclusive and seasonal options being offered from time to time:
