This might be the one of the best real-life example of Sour Grapes ever.

Didn't feel like it would work out

Her close friend had gone on a date with someone she matched with on the dating app, Coffee Meets Bagel.

However, she didn't feel like it was going to work out in the long run.

She thought it would be best to send her date a friendly message to let him know.

That's when the trouble started.

Not long after their date, she sent him this:

Seems ok. But here's what he sent back in reply:

Well damn.

The woman was taken aback, and asked for an apology.

But the guy doubled down.

He even added that women should be put in their place:

She ended the convo by saying that while he was entitled to his opinions, what he said was just rude:

The perils of dating apps.
