McDonald's promises to improve cheesy loaded fries 5 days after disappointing the nation

More backlash than cheese.

It's not easy to run a fast food conglomerate.

I mean, when you put a new item on the menu, you do actually have to serve it in a way that looks like how it was advertised.

Phew.

But since disappointing the nation with their Cheesy Loaded Fries launched five days ago, McDonald's has stepped forward to apologise for their faux pas (to put it lightly. Like how they put their nacho cheese):

This is after their apology on Dec. 7 (the day their fries launched) and reassurances that they are "reinforcing [their] restaurant procedure".

Unfortunately, the top comment on their latest apology comes attached with a picture of the fries with minimal cheese and missing bacon:

And it's not the only one, either:

To be fair there were a few others who posted pictures of okay-looking fries, but not as much as this lucky customer:

In case you cant't see it:

This is cheese and bacon with a side of fries, and we trust it will look like this from now on, with the "re-looked processes".
