Pay S$0.30 to add extra cheese on McDonald's Cheesy Loaded Fries

McDonald's Cheesy Loaded Fries was launched on Dec. 7, 2017 to much hype.

However, within the first day of the launch, the fries failed to meet expectations as there were multiple complaints of too little nacho cheese and chicken bacon bit toppings:

In response to media queries about the failure to meet expectations, a McDonald's spokesperson said:

"We’re sorry to hear that some of our customers haven’t had the best experience with our Cheesy Loaded Fries. We’re reinforcing our restaurant procedures to ensure we deliver on our commitment to offering quality food enjoyment for our customers."

Pay for extra toppings

In response to further queries, McDonald's said customers have the option of paying for additional toppings.

Customers are allowed to request for additional nacho cheese, sour cream and chicken bacon bits.

Prices are as follows:

Nacho Cheese: S$0.30

Sour Cream: S$0.30

Chicken Bacon Bits: S$1.20

The Cheesy Loaded Fries cost S$4.20 a la carte.
