McDonald's Cheesy Loaded Fries look nothing like what was advertised

Cheese very expensive these days.

McDonald's launched its Cheesy Loaded Fries on Dec. 7, 2017.

The Cheesy Loaded Fries cost S$4.20 a la carte.

However, in less than a day, customers are complaining it looks nothing like what was advertised:

These were the preview photos taken by Xavier Lur, who is part of Singapore's Twitterati. McDonald's has confirmed that Lur's photos of the cheesy fries had been topped off with more cheese, at Lur's request.

Angus beef burger review

Early reviews for the Angus Mushroom Supreme burger is also disappointing.

One review said the burger is very dry and Burger King's Mushroom Swiss is way better.

The whole meal costs S$9.75, excluding customer's parking.

Update:

In response to media queries, a McDonald's spokesperson said:

“We’re sorry to hear that some of our customers haven’t had the best experience with our Cheesy Loaded Fries. We’re reinforcing our restaurant procedures to ensure we deliver on our commitment to offering quality food enjoyment for our customers.”

Customers are allowed to request for additional nacho cheese, sour cream and chicken bacon bits.

Nacho Cheese: S$0.30

Sour Cream: S$0.30

Chicken Bacon Bits: S$1.20
