Train rides in Singapore can be pretty mundane unless you consider it an emotional rollercoaster ride when you're stuck in a breakdown.

But a comical episode involving a bunch of live prawns breaking free from the confines of a plastic bag made train commuters in the Downtown Line break out into fits of laughter.

Wait, how did the prawns end up in a train?

The prawns didn't come from a random auntie making her way home from her weekly wet market trip, though.

Instead, it came from a well-dressed man who looked like he was heading to the office, clad in a white button-down shirt and black trousers, complete with a brown briefcase.

What made it more humorous was the fact that the man in smart wear was chasing the scuttering shellfishes.

While we don't know where he caught the prawns, we do hope he managed to feast on a good seafood dinner.
