Despite getting on with age, 76-year-old Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong is showing no signs of slowing down.

During the Oxley Road debate on July 4 this year, he threw his political weight behind PM Lee Hsien Loong and DPM Teo Chee Hean.

Then he taught us what the heck is political sophistry -- read more about the context here.

“I will be very brief. The response by Low Thia Khiang is not unexpected. I expected that, this is what we call political sophistry."

And we also learnt that Tang Liang Hong is not his brother after crossing swords with Low Thia Khiang in Parliament during the same debate.

When you think things are beyond repair between the blue and white, Lao Goh posted this olive branch on National Day.
All's well then?

Of course not.

A day after Workers' Party announced its new headquarters in the Marine Parade GRC, Lao Goh threw spades of shade at the opposition party.

If you cannot read it, here's the full post:

So, Workers' Party have migrated to a new nest in Marine Parade constituency. Though birds of a different feather do not flock together, we welcome them as our new residents. They will like it here. It is well-managed. Come to my MPS if you have issues.  --- gct

"It is well-managed."
