The man caught on video taking upskirt footage on the Circle Line MRT is a teacher from Xinmin Primary School.

The vice-principal Clement Lee confirmed that the man is one of its teachers.

He also said the man is a "beginning teacher" who was posted to the school on June 13, 2016.

The man was caught on camera taking what appeared to be an upskirt video of a fellow commuter in the MRT train on the Circle Line travelling from MacPherson to Paya Lebar station.

Various online sources have identified the man.
