Singapore's competitive eating scene is definitely heating up.

How do we know this? Because local competitive eater Philip Ng took on these notoriously kill-everyone Korean 2x spicy instant noodles...

... and (spoiler), won.

In no less than four minutes and without drinking any water whatsoever.

Watch the video of him accomplishing this incredible feat here:

Ng did this challenge as part of a collaboration-challenge between Food League Singapore and Thai Pro Eaters, who also carried out a five-packet 2x spicy ramen speed-eating challenge.

Except they permitted the drinking of plenty of water:

(Okay, his friend was making fun of him. He didn't need that much.)

Five packs.

Combined, plus seasoning and sauce. All of it.

And it begins! Look how he shovels it into his mouth like it's, I dunno, fishball noodles:

Sip of water:

Another sip (note that he's pretty much through about four packets?):

Done, in under 3 minutes. Siao.
