According to Lianhe Zaobao, the Yishun woman in shades who has been harassing her neighbours and forcing them to build a wall to keep her out, has been arrested.

The 63-year-old woman was arrested on Saturday, May 27, at Yishun Central. She was arrested for an offence of public nuisance.

The harassment that had been ongoing for two years have since ceased.

Two years of hell

A quick recap if you haven't been keeping up with the drama.

At Block 112 of Yishun Ring Road, the neighbour in question had been hurling toilet paper, sanitary pads, dark sauce and urine on the doors of two other households, both which are situated on a higher floor.

It got so bad, the neighbours installed CCTVs.

One of the elderly neighbours even erected a cacti wall to keep the auntie at bay.

The woman who was carrying out the harassment wore sunglasses, presumably to protect her identity while carrying out the acts.

Not only were the police contacted, Nee Soon Town Council also stepped in.

They last told us that the National Environment Agency was also investigating the matter, and had arranged to interview the relevant parties to obtain their statements.

NSTC also asked for the wall to be removed due to it being an obstruction and a fire hazard.

According to one of the neighbours, who’s surname is identified as Lee, the auntie did hold back on her actions a little after her story was exposed to the media, but it did not stop her completely.

If convicted of the Miscellaneous Offences (Public Order and Nuisance) Act, she may be fined up to S$1,000.
