Meet Gary and Amber.
Recently, they got married and like any other couple, had a blissful traditional ceremony with their friends and family.
Awww.
However, their gatecrash is certainly anything but.
For the uninitiated, gatecrashing is a common Chinese wedding custom where the groom and his groomsmen have to go through several obstacles set by the bridesmaids before being able to "claim" the bride.
Amber and Gary wouldn't settle for a run-of-the-mill gatecrash, though.
They decided to reverse roles, as seen in their wedding video, and the results are nothing short of epic.
In case you're reading this on your phone and want to conserve data, we bring you a blow-by-blow account — stay with us, it's good:
First, you have the groomsmen all decked out in hula skirts:
And the blushing bri- we mean, groom, whose parents were happy to comply with the unusual arrangement:
Meanwhile, the bride and her bridesmaids arrive, looking suave with moustaches and suspenders:
The groomsmen didn't go easy on the games — they made the girls pass the groomsmen's photos using only their faces:
Then, they challenged the "brothers" to pull a series of yoga poses, including this one:
Which thankfully, worked out with one of the couple's two dogs:
Here's a more complicated one requiring some teamwork:
Which they gamely did, right in front of the lift lobby.
Finally, to get the key to the house, one had to brave a spider that floated ominously in water, while fishing for the key with their feet.
That wasn't all, as the final hurdle was for Amber to declare her promises to Gary in their wedded life:
But it was all worth it for Amber.
The white veil was then lifted by Gary's Princess Charming:
Thus concluding the wacky and brilliant gatecrash.
After the Shakespearean series of events, all's well that ends well.
Congratulations, Gary and Amber!
You can watch the full video of their wedding here. The gatecrash starts from the 2:36 mark:
