Singtel broadband Internet down all over S'pore on Saturday morning

Singtel broadband Internet service appears to be down all over Singapore bright and early on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016.

According to downdetector.sg, Singtel experienced problems from 8.21am onwards.

The spike in complaints was peaking a 9am, but it could get higher as there is a lag in reflecting complaints registered.

All over Singapore, from Yishun to Toa Payoh to Choa Chu Kang, Singaporeans have turned to social media to indicate that their day is starting to get ruined as the WiFi indicator light is glowing green but there is no Internet:

Attempts to connect to the home WiFi only gave subscribers this message:

The 1688 helpline also appears to be jammed as thousands of Singaporeans are trying to call through to get the issue rectified as precious weekend seconds are ticking away.
