There is this genre of YouTube videos where the creators splice up clips of speeches given by prominent personalities to fit into song lyrics.

An example is Obama singing One Direction.

The latest, and greatest, oh it's so great folks, you're going to be so tired of all the greatness, example is this video produced by local YouTubers, Ministry of Funny.

They took the classic NDP song, "We are Singapore" and Trumpified it.

The first sign that this would be a parody for the ages came at the start, when the now famous refrain of "There was a time when people said that Singapore won’t make it" was interjected by the Trump's signature "Fake news!".

Fake news indeed.
