Preetipls calls bullsh*t on Ah Boys To Men audition perpetrating casual racism

She is not having the final word. Because hers is The Word.

Preetipls, Singapore's most woke video maker and most wanted public property, who is actually a total sweetheart in real life, has called bullsh*t.

She made a video 91-second video to highlight the point that casual racism equals to being rude, but being rude doesn't equal to casual racism.

Simply put, this isn't a two-way street, a point people who get high on identity politics forget or gloss over.

This woke video is bound to trigger Singaporeans who feel they are already woke about race:

Why it works is not just because it was made by a woman who is from the minority, but that it calls bullsh*t on

- political correctness

- the unthinking majority who always calls on Preetipls to arbitrate disputes

- the Ah Boys To Men franchise

- Jack Neo

- the claims of casual racism from the ABTM audition

- the vitriolic reaction from the masses to the accusation of casual racism

- the abysmal state of mainstream Singapore comedy in general (when juxtaposed alongside Preetipls' indelible style)

- and Preetipls's self-reflexive humour (i.e. Just because she is in the minority she can make fun of her own race?)

Last but not least, you have to watch the video three times to catch everything in it, such as re-reading the Chinese subtitles on your second try to match the English subtitles and then watching it a fourth time to ensure you don't miss out on anything, including having to pause the video periodically for subliminal messages.

And then realising there is something racist and privileged about a video that has subtitles in English and Chinese only.
