Nathan Hartono, who was the first Singaporean to enter the finals and finish in second place in the Sing! China competition has teamed up with Aisyah Aziz to cover a Disney classic, Beauty And The Beast.

If you've not heard of Aisyah, the singer and active YouTuber has made a name for herself in Singapore and Malaysia.

She came in sixth in one of the top-rated reality competition Akademi Fantasia, and had also appeared in our local reality singing series My Squad is Better Than Yours.

Of course, what better way to get to know her than to hear her sing?

But we digress.

This cover of Beauty And The Beast is timely. The movie is currently showing in cinemas and doing well at the box office despite the hoo-ha it has generated over gay character Lefou's presence.

Whatever your stance may be, we can all agree that this is a lovely cover.

One comment in response to the cover even said that it was better than the original, as the cover was a tender, moving fit for the movie.

Of course, we are Singaporean and we are biased.
