Circles.Life users complain online because new telco plagued by various problems

Not all rosy with the telco.

Ever since its $20 for 20GB promotion, it looks like hordes of people plagued by insanely low data capped phone plans from existing telcos have decided they've had enough.

So, they've flipped the proverbial table and hopped on with new telco Circles.Life.

And while there are still a fair share of happy customers who are delighted they have made the switch, and will never look back, there are others who haven't had the same good experience.

In the past week, in particular, a number have taken to Circles.Life's Facebook page with complaints about various issues they've faced with the cheery company, known for its friendly replies to comments, and happy accessible-looking messaging on their website.

These can be broadly categorised into four main issues:

1. Delivery problems

2. Number porting

3. Connectivity

4. Customer service lapses

1. Delivery problems

Honestly, number one doesn't come as much of a shock to us, when we learned of the company Circles.Life chose to do its SIM card deliveries - SingPost:

This guy in particular sounds like he's been cheated on:

'>Especially his reply to a response posted by the Circles.Life admins:

And that's just a selection of some of the complaints. You might say, "Well it's SingPost's fault, not Circles.Life, and besides, we should support local, right?"

Ninja Van is also a Singaporean courier, #justsaying.

2. Number porting

Number porting was a promotion the telco dangled, saying users who retain their original phone numbers from their previous telcos will receive a bump in allocated data.

Again, there were quite a few more of these.

3. Connectivity

Several satisfied customers said they've had good, and at times even better, 4G connectivity than their previous telcos. But not all sang the same tune, especially of late:

'>

'>Others mentioned that they suffered patches of loss of connectivity or only 3G connectivity, like this guy:

4. Customer service lapses

Regrettably, Circles.Life's customer service turned out to be a disappointment for a number of users too:

'>

'>

'>

'>Indeed, ensuring seamless transition for users migrating to your business, and prompt customer service, can be seen as "schoolboy" stuff — basic blocks essential to the successful operation of a customer-facing company.

Perhaps Circles.Life needs more staff, and possibly a new courier too.
