Congratulations are in order for Taiwanese singer Eric Chou and his partner, former newscaster Dacie Chao.
The pair announced on Mar. 30, 2023 that their first child is on the way.

Chou wrote,
"I am the luckiest guy in the world. I have the most amazing wife, and now we are happy to announce a baby is on the way! Words can't describe my excitement. I can't wait to start a family with you my love!"
The lovebirds had announced their engagement about half a year ago, in October 2022.
However, Chou's manager told overseas media that the two had already registered their marriage last year, and the baby was not unexpected.
Besides an elated Chou, Chao was also reported to be in good health.
As for the baby's gender and delivery date, the couple is keeping it under wraps for now, citing privacy reasons.
