All of the items she received are exclusive to FairPrice Finest outlets, according to the website.
However, the first three items listed above are no longer available according to the FairPrice app.
Additionally, the prices of the Undercover Chocolate Quinoa Crisps and Ferrero Rocher Chocolate Tablets should be S$6.56 and S$5.90 respectively.
This means that the total value of the items works up to S$44.46, which is still over the value of S$40.

Some individuals were intrigued by the mystery grab bags after watching the video, saying that it was not bad and interesting.

Others also wondered if the promotion was truly worth it if the customer winds up not liking a single item, even if their total value is over S$50.

Is it illegal?
A handful of individuals questioned the legality of the mystery grab bags, comparing them to mystery or loot boxes, which are illegal.

In response to Mothership's queries, FairPrice said: "We would like to clarify that there was no game of chance as the content of every bag was the same. Customers could also open the bag to have a look and evaluate if the items were of sufficient value before deciding whether to purchase one."
FairPrice also said: "To confirm, the content of all the bags are the same, and yes, members of the public can open the bag to have a look at the contents before deciding to buy the bag. Because of that, there is no element of chance."
