Swee Choon's second outlet in Century Square will be pre-opening on July 30.

To celebrate this pre-opening, the 59-year-old dim sum eatery will be running a S$2 dimsum promotion on their top 10 best-selling dishes from July 30 to August 1, 2021, only at the new outlet.

S$2 dimsum promotion

The top 10 best-selling dishes that will be sold for S$2 each during the three-day promotional period are:

1. Char Siew Bao
2. Siew Mai
3. Glutinous Rice with Chicken
4. Minced Pork and Century Egg Porridge
5. Rice Roll with Char Siew
6. Carrot Cake
7. Mee Suah Kueh
8. Tofu Bomb
9. Si Chuan Chilli Oil Wanton
10. Mango Pomelo Sago

You'll have to takeaway at the store to snag these prices.

Otherwise, there's a 20 per cent storewide discount via foodpanda in August.

The Century Square outlet is also listed on Oddle and GrabFood, and will be made available on Deliveroo soon.

New dishes

Swee Choon will also be launching new dishes, including Black Pepper Char Siew Bao (S$3.20 for two buns), Baked BBQ Char Siew Bao (S$4 for two buns).

Second outlet

The 40-seater eatery features a semi-open concept with neon lights and bright colours.

Century Square first announced the dim sum restaurant's arrival to the east via an Instagram Story on June 10.

Swee Choon confirmed the news two hours later by reposting the Instagram story on their Instagram page.

Founded in 1962, the homegrown dim sum restaurant has been operating out of its sole outlet at Jalan Besar.

However, that outlet has expanded from a single shophouse unit to six connecting ones since.

Their initial plan to open an outlet in Nex in April 2020 was shelved due to the pandemic.

Instead, they opened a cloud kitchen in Tampines in November 2020, and launched its frozen dim sum line.
