While ARMY (BTS fans) have to wait a little longer for the "BTS Meal" to launch here, McDonald's have something else in store for McDonald's fans islandwide.
The fast food chain has quietly added three items to their online menu without much publicity on their social media pages.
They are the Blueberry Cream Cheese Pie and the Lotus Biscoff McFlurry.
The Yuzu McFizz has also made its return.
Blueberry Cream Cheese Pie
The Blueberry Cream Cheese Pie (S$1.95) may be new in town but it was launched in Malaysia back in October 2020.
We enjoyed the new pie flavour that tasted like a light blueberry cheesecake.
The taste of the cream cheese is slightly mild, which paired well with the blueberry.
Lotus Biscoff McFlurry
Similarly, the Lotus Biscoff McFlurry (S$3.40) has already been available in Belgium and France prior to its arrival here.
Unlike the Blueberry Cream Cheese Pie, we were less impressed with the new McFlurry flavour that is basically vanilla ice-cream topped with Lotus Biscoff crumbs.
Perhaps only huge Speculoos/Biscoff fans would appreciate this new item. Or maybe they're already making this at home.
As it is, some people have even tried DIY-ing their own Biscoff McFlurry back in 2019 before the official product was released.
