Hero's bar cluster at Boat Quay has closed after 28 days of zero linked cases

The Orange Ballroom cluster has also closed.

The Hero's bar cluster (69 Circular Road) and The Orange Ballroom (845 Geylang Road) have now closed, Singapore's Ministry of Health (MOH) announced on Saturday, May 2.

No more cases linked to the two clusters for 28 days

This is because there have been no more cases linked to these two places for 28 days, which is two incubation periods.

9 confirmed cases from Hero's Bar cluster

The first seven confirmed cases at Hero's bar were all foreigners.

The eighth case, Case 1013, is a 51-year-old woman, who is a Singapore permanent resident

In total, the Hero's bar cluster had nine patients.

They are Cases 192, 556, 657, 670, 714, 813, 940, 1013 and 1097.

One patient from the Hero's bar cluster, Case 670, is linked to the existing cluster at the Singapore Cricket Club cluster. 

Another patient from the Hero's bar cluster, Case 556, is linked to the Dover Court International School cluster.
