Gatherings, both private and public, have been banned in Singapore.
Usually, when these bans are announced, one rarely gets to see the measures, whether enforcement or pre-emptive, that are taken to ensure the ban is carried out.
Apparently there is a lot of tape.
Here are the scenes from three different places: Jurong, Tampines, and Havelock Road.
Chairs are a no go.
Neither are playgrounds.
Sports areas were shuttered off as well.
Although human transmutation circles were deemed acceptable.
Chess is off limits too.
