Modern problems.

The Wuhan virus has made its way worldwide.

Tibet being the latest to report a suspected case.

Which makes an airport quite a tense place to be right now, what with the enhanced security checks and high human traffic.

Masks usually provide some sort of assurance for travellers, even though there have been debate over the effectiveness of these masks.

But some might need even more of an assurance.

A lady with a make-shift mask apparently spotted at Vancouver International Airport.

Here she is.

If you look closely, you can actually see that the lady appears to also be wearing a mask in addition to the plastic bottle/ face guard.

This could be due to a statement by Peking University respiratory specialist Wang Guangfa who believed that he had caught the virus due to "lack of eye protection".

According to Vancouver is Awesome, a Facebook post was published at January 28,2020 with this caption:

"Fresh out of YVR. The latest anti-virus shields made with old water jugs."

Canada currently has three confirmed cases of the Wuhan Virus.

There have been other photos of people wearing these types of water bottles on their face in other countries as well.
