Airlines have a weight limit for carry-on baggage.
And they tend to be pretty strict about these regulations too.
Bag over weight limit? No problem.
According to a Facebook post by one Gel Rodriguez from the Philippines, she said that she was told by the staff at the check-in counter that her bag was above the weight limit.
A maximum allowance of 7kg was permitted for carry-on baggage. Her bag, however, was a hefty 9kg.
Instead of letting this ruin her day, she decided to take it in her stride and came up with a hilarious solution while at it:
She removed 2.5kg worth of clothes from her luggage and wore them all.
Here's a photo of how it turned out, because npnt:
The end result? A 6.5kg carry-on luggage, a solid 0.5kg under the weight limit.
Good on her.
This is her Facebook post on Oct. 2, which has since gone viral with over 17,000 shares:
