She was recently in the news for an Instagram story she posted.

Here it is:

This did not go over with some of her followers.

Who took issue with what they considered was body shaming.

Some even called into question other aspects of her career, including her much-touted piano skills.

Things got so bad, she even needed to come out and debunk the accusations.

A few days after the post clarifying her piano credentials, Lee uploaded an apology for the previous week's brouhaha.

In the letter, which she also uploaded in Chinese, Lee clarified that it was never her intention to "impose any judgement" on anyone.

And that she was just pointing out the standards that models like her were held to, and was trying to motivate her followers to go to the gym.

She realised upon reflection that she had been imposing on others an "unhealthy beauty standard" that she had also imposed on herself.
