You might see him around town.

Comedian-host Trevor Noah has landed in Singapore, two days before his back-to-back sold-out shows here on Monday evening, Aug. 19, 2019.

He was apparently at Newton Food Centre on Saturday night, as LAMC Productions uploaded a photo of Noah and a durian after midnight on Sunday:

Extra show added in Singapore

The host of The Daily Show — a satirical news programme — was initially scheduled to perform one show here.

But tickets -- priced between S$98 and S$198, excluding the booking fee -- were sold out in a jiffy.

In response to overwhelming demand, a second show was added.

Noah will perform the first show at 7pm, and the second show will start at 930pm.

The two shows will be part of his Loud And Clear Tour and will be taking place at The Star Theatre.

What can the Singapore audience expect?

The highly telegenic stand-up comedian will be expected to deliver his routine with the same amount of panache and wit that The Daily Show audiences are familiar with.

Noah's hot takes on current affairs around the world will be highly-anticipated.

The audience will also look forward to any fresh material he can come up with to suit the local context here, especially if he were to broach the topics of identity and race, which have been major talking points in Singapore as of late.

Previously, Noah's second stand-up show, The Racist, enjoyed a sold-out run at the 2012 Edinburgh Fringe.

A review by The Guardian called the show — that dealt with issues such as racial identity — an “impressive fringe debut from a classy young comic”.

One of Noah's latest Aug. 16 tweet revealed that he was down with a vocal situation and had been ordered to rest, but it appears non-serious:

You can ask him to hydrate if you see him around town.
