But headed to Singapore early before the matches kick off is Cristiano Ronaldo, who currently plays for Juventus.
It is understood that he arrived in Singapore on July 2, and will be here until July 5.
The football star will also make an appearance at Our Tampines Hub on July 3 before making a school visit on July 4, The Straits Times reported.
The match with Tottenham Hotspur on July 21 will be the five-time Ballon d'Ors winner's first-ever match in Singapore.
Ronaldo had previously visited Singapore in 2013, where he came as a marquee guest for the Singapore Olympic Foundation-Peter Lim Scholarship initiative.
The scholarship is a S$10 million donation from Lim, which aims to ensure that no young athlete pursuing sports "should be hampered by financial considerations".
Lim is best known as a Singaporean billionaire who owns the Valencia CF and also Ronaldo's image rights for six years.
In a Facebook post announcing the deal, Ronaldo referred to Peter Lim as a "good friend".
In 2017, Ronaldo also made a visit to Lim's daughter Kim Lim, who had just given birth to her son.The power of links.
