Messages of gratitude
The dressing room was nearly spotless, save for heartwarming messages of gratitude on the whiteboard, where "thank you" was written in three languages -- Arabic, English and Japanese.
Wonderful.
Fellow netizens chimed in, echoing the praise for the Japanese team:
The Japanese also offered their congratulations to Qatar:
And while the teams look forward to getting stronger for their next match, someone slid in an unintentional pun.
If anything, their dressing room would indeed be anything but messi.
