Japanese megastore Don Don Donki will be opening its third outlet in Singapore at City Square Mall on January 11, 2019, at 10am.
According to 8 Days, the store will be its largest one yet at 26,000 sqf.
Japanese "food court"
Besides their usual variety of products ranging from household items to beauty products, the new premises will also house a Japanese-style food court similar to Hokkaido Marche in Orchard Central.
There will be a total of five tenants, where mains like ramen, donburi (rice bowl), Japanese barbecue, and fried chicken will be available.
One notable tenant is Hokkaido soft serve brand Naganuma Ice Co.:
Bargain corner
Look forward to a bargain corner where items will be going for as low as S$2, S$4, and S$6, 8 Days reports.
These will not be food products.
Furthermore, the City Square outlet will also have a bigger section for perishables and a delicatessen, meaning you'll be able to find more options for ready-to-eat items.
Don Don Donki plans to have 10 outlets in Singapore by 2020. Its first two outlets are in Orchard Central and Tanjong Pagar.
Address:
City Square Mall, 180 Kitchener Rd Basement 2, Singapore 208539
Opening hours after January 11:
