If you thought golf was for old people and rich businessmen, Holey Moley Golf Club is here to change that perception.

The cocktail bar and mini golf course hybrid establishment will open in Clarke Quay on December 6, 2018.

It will take over the former premises of nightclub Shanghai Dolly.

Pop culture themed

The golfing space will contain 27 holes split across two floors. Each hole features a pop culture-inspired theme from either TV shows, movies or board games.

Examples include Game of Thrones, The Simpsons, E.T., Jaws and even Monopoly.

The venue can host up to 450 guests.

According to their website, a round of nine holes will take around 25 to 40 minutes.

You get a maximum of six shots per hole. If you're thinking of cheating, erm, better not:

"Rules are rules. This keeps the game going and stops you from embarrassing yourself too badly."

Food, alcohol, and live DJs

Besides mini golf, the place serves Western food and alcohol. It also has a live DJ.

For food, expect things like burgers with neon-coloured buns, pizzas, and salad.

You can make a reservation here (advisable for large groups).

Patrons under 18 are not allowed after 5pm, by the way.
