You might have heard of the fast and furious Dee Kosh saga that happened over the weekend.

To summarise, he claimed to have been harassed by BTS fans, and had gotten his YouTube account deleted.

Doubts were raised.

And it turned out to be a social experiment.

Oh no.

Protection order

Well, the BTS Army isn't done with the saga just yet though.

The collective of fans shifted its focus to the issue of the band's upcoming concert in Singapore in January 2019.

One concerned fan went to the extent of starting a petition to "ban/restrict" Dee Kosh from being "allowed near BTS" during their time in Singapore.

Here is the petition:

But what is the petition exactly about?

"Well, in a nutshell, it is to protect BTS.

As such, we are setting up this petition to collate the support to ban such an irresponsible, unprofessional, disrespectful and dishonest public figure and his associations (i.e. currently Power 98 FM as we are unsure if they have participated in instigating the issue) from being allowed to be in near proximity to BTS when they visit Singapore for their LOVE YOURSELF Tour Concert in January 2019."

But why?

"By doing so, it will reduce the possibility that BTS will encounter upsetting situations (e.g. who knows if the DJ will be at the concert to initiate another controversial topic angering ARMYs for another one of his "social experiment") or undergo interviews conducted by unprofessional, disrespectful and dishonest interviewers (if Power 98 FM did instigate the issue, who knows if their other DJs may be instructed to do the same?)."

And what are they expecting to achieve?

"Once the petition garners sufficient support, we will be emailing to BigHit for them to review the situation and take appropriate action (consider a restraining order?) to safeguard the safety of BTS on behalf of Singaporean ARMYs."

So basically "a restraining order".

Yikes.

The petition has reached over 1,000 signatures in less than three days.

This is one reason given by those who signed the petition.

Here's the petition in full:

"Dee Kosh is a YouTuber based in Singapore and DJ of Singapore's local radio station Power 98 FM.

He previously publicly shamed and called an ARMY b*tch as well as unprofessionally claimed that BTS had plastic surgery during his interview with Shawn Mendes.

He recently tweeted a post insulting BTS' work - masking it as an unpopular opinion - which caused him to receive a wave of backlash from ARMYs. He proceeded to fabricate the lie that ARMYs had caused his YouTube channel to be removed, even posting a video of him crying with the intention to deceive, garner sympathy and further provoke ARMYs, by further reiterating that ARMYs were the cause of his demise. When ARMYs put up evidence that he was fabricating his sob story, he proceeded to restore his YouTube channel and uploaded a video, giving the sad excuse that he was carrying out a "social experiement". His actions have caused much unnecessary distress to and strife within the ARMY fandom. He is also unapologetic and has yet to undertake responsibility for his actions.

As such, we are setting up this petition to collate the support to ban such an irresponsible, unprofessional, direspectful and dishonest public figure and his associations (i.e. currently Power 98 FM as we are unsure if they have participated in instigating the issue) from being allowed to be in near proximity to BTS when they visit Singapore for their LOVE YOURSELF Tour Concert in January 2019.

By doing so, it will reduce the possibility that BTS will encounter upsetting situations (e.g. who knows if the DJ will be at the concert to initiate another controversial topic angering ARMYs for another one of his "social experiment") or undergo interviews conducted by unprofessional, disrespectful and dishonest interviewers (if Power 98 FM did instigate the issue, who knows if their other DJs may be instructed to do the same?).

Once the petition garners sufficient support, we will be emailing to BigHit for them to review the situation and take appropriate action (consider a restraining order?) to safeguard the safety of BTS on behalf of Singaporean ARMYs. We sincerely hope that BTS will be able to walk the flower path while in Singapore."

Wow.
