One of the worst feelings in the world is having to hold in your poop when you're stuck in a car or a bus.

But what takes the cake is when you actually soil yourself.

Enter Choo.

On July 21, Choo shared his unfortunate experience on a Facebook community page for RYDE users and drivers, Ryde Singapore Community.

Held in his poop to not inconvenience driver

Here's what happened:

• On July 20 at 5.40pm, Choo had just booked out of Pasir Laba Camp
• He had planned on going down to Downtown East to meet his friends
• His RYDE car was scheduled to come 10 minutes later, at 5.50pm
• At around 5.49pm, he had a very bad stomachache
• However, he decided not to use the toilet and tried to hold in his bowels instead as he thought it wasn't "right to delay him (the driver)"

Pasir Laba Camp is located in the far West side of Singapore while Downtown East is in the East.

It takes about 40 minutes by car, which is a long time even when you are not on the verge of soiling yourself.

Calm didn't last long

Things went pretty smoothly for Choo at first, as he sat in the front passenger seat and began to chat with SH, the RYDE driver.

But the calm didn't last long.

The stomach pain came back when they were on the expressway through Jalan Bahar however, Choo tried to hold it in by not thinking about the pain.

And then something happened: he started farting.

While some drivers would have just rolled down the windows to let fresh air in, SH asked if Choo was ok out of concern.

To which, Choo replied:

"I said I am ok just that if he could find a nearest toilet for me because I needed to sh*t very badly and will try to hold till the nearest toilet."

Soiled his underwear

But it seems like luck was never on his side that day since the next exit they would encounter was rather far and on top of that, there was heavy traffic.

Thankfully, SH told Choo that he was going to take a detour to let him use the toilet at a petrol station.

But alas, they didn't make it in time.

Choo didn't manage to hold in his bowels:

"I thanked him for that, but unfortunately I didn’t manage to hold it in till Mandai and I defecated in underwear."

Even then, SH just smiled and assured him that it was ok.

Choo told SH that he would reimburse for any stains left on his car, but SH reminded him that his priority should be to rush to the toilet and clean himself.

When they finally reached a petrol station, Choo immediately got off the car to wipe the seat with his wet wipes, before even changing into his spare underwear.

Gives S$22.50 tip to driver

Upon reaching his destination, he apologised to SH again and handed him a S$50 note -- S$22.50 more than the original fare.

SH insisted on returning him his change, but Choo was adamant to give him the full S$50 and asked him to regard the change as a tip for his top-notch service.

While the journey may not be the best one he has ever experienced, SH was just proof that there will always be a silver lining to a dark cloud.

"Kudos to the driver, SH, he is really very nice, patient and kind. Any rider who has this chance to ride with him will definitely be great."
