The fake Kim Jong-un has arrived in Singapore on June 8, four days ahead of the Kim-Trump summit.

However, he hit a little snag.

According to fake Kim, who goes by Howard X, he was detained and questioned by authorities upon arrival in Singapore.

Detained & questioned

Howard arrived in Singapore for "summit-related promotions by businesses".

According to multiple reports, he said that he was "detained and questioned by police officers who stopped him at the Singapore Changi Airport".

He also added that he was told to stay away from Sentosa Island and Shangri-La Hotel

The summit will happen at the Capella Hotel in Sentosa, while Trump is expected to stay at Shangri-La during his visit.

Who is Howard X?

The Australian-Chinese man, who calls himself Howard X, has made waves recently.

Previously, he made an appearance as Kim at the Winter Olympics in Gangneung in South Korea in February.

He was also seen in Singapore on May 27, where he posed as the North Korean leader and took selfies at the Merlion Park.

Howard said he has been doing his lookalike gig since 2012, and has appeared in films, commercials and private functions.

Howard X in Singapore again

Howard has a partner who impersonates United States president Donald Trump, played by a man named Dennis Alan.

The Howard and Dennis duo have so far worked together numerous times.

They have been hired by a Singapore hotel to appear at Bugis Junction on June 9 and 10, between 2pm to 4pm for a meet and greet with the public.
