Kyra Poh, the amazingly talented Singaporean indoor skydiver, has done it again.

The 15-year-old is now a two-time world champion in the Solo Freestyle event of the World Indoor Skydiving Championships (WISC) this year, after beating 12 other opponents to retain her championship title, which she's had since October last year.

Poh also came in fifth in the Solo Speed Category. Her team emerged as champions in the 4-way speed event, too, which includes fellow Singaporean Choo Yi Xuan and two Polish competitors, Andrzej Soltyk and Josh Ruiz-Velasco.

But anyway, here's her gold-medal-winning routine:

Don't know the difference between the Speed and Freestyle events? Here's a quick explainer:

Freestyle: participants perform their own indoor skydiving routines, and are judged by their style, creativity, originality and difficulty of their stunts.

Speed: participants need to complete a number of compulsory sequences, as well as random sequences drawn by each participant, with the participant completing the routine in the fastest time winning.

Champion since 2016

You might recall that we first mentioned Poh and Choo when they made waves in an international competition back in April 2016.

Here's their winning routine from back then:

Poh went on to win another world championship in October that year too:

New challengers

Besides Poh, this year's championships also sees plenty of young Singaporean talent.

Poh's 2016 partner Choo, who is 16, competed for the first time ever as an individual and came in 10th and 4th in the speed and freestyle categories respectively.

The Junior Freestyle event also saw three young Singaporean skydivers aged 8-10 clinching the 6th, 7th and 8th positions, including Kyra's younger sister Vera Poh:

With so many young and upcoming talents in this particular sport, we can be sure that we'll have lots of athletes doing Singapore proud in upcoming events. Well done, girls!
