Held every year in the Swiss alpine town of Davos, the World Economic Forum (WEF) is the place where the global elite interact and exchange big ideas.

The headliners for the 48th WEF (from Jan. 23 to 26) include the US Tweeter-in-Chief Trump, Indian PM Narendra Modi (the first Indian prime minister in two decades), German Chancellor Angela Merkel, UK PM Theresa May, Canadian PM Justin Trudeau, IMF boss Christine Lagarde, Queen Rania, and Oscar-winning actress Cate Blanchett.

The theme is "creating a Shared Future in a Fractured World" and will include 400 sessions.
