Yum... maybe?

Even after the Cheesy Loaded Fries fiasco (plus plenty of disappointment with their Angus Beef Burger, we might add), McDonald's remains undeterred from introducing three new items that will be available from Thursday, Jan. 4.

Let's get straight to them:

1) BBQ Pulled Chicken Burger

The BBQ Pulled Chicken burger will be added to their Signature Collection burgers for a limited period, alongside the Buttermilk Crispy Chicken which is a permanent item.

Pulled meats are supposed to be more tender than their shredded counterparts, as the protein is subjected to slow-cooking at low temperatures.

The pulled chicken is served with BBQ sauce, shredded purple cabbage and carrot between toasted sesame seed buns

A la carte will cost you S$6.45, while a value set meal with medium fries and a drink will be $8.45.

2) Italian Herb Drumlets

The drumlets are seasoned with oregano and basil, and will be available at $2.20 for two pieces and $10.80 for 10 pieces on a while stocks last basis.

3) Apple Pie A La Mode

Apple Pie A La Mode (a la mode means served with ice cream) comes in two versions: hot fudge and strawberry.

The dessert consists of vanilla soft serve, apple pie, and a drizzle of your corresponding flavour.

It's basically your sundae ($1.70) paired with an apple pie ($1) broken into half. This revolutionary new innovation goes for $2.50 apiece. A full 20 cents savings!
