Don't be surprised if you bump into someone in Singapore who looks like he could either cook you a wonderful meal you'd never forget, or give you a tongue-lashing you'd rather forget.

Gordon Ramsay, the world famous chef and only relevant character on TV shows like Hell's Kitchen and Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares is in Singapore on Jan. 16, 2018.

Although the American version of Kitchen Nightmares ended in 2014, Ramsay still takes time out of his day to give an honest assessment of random people's culinary efforts on Twitter.

On Jan. 14, in response to someone who whipped up a Singapore-style chilli crab dish, Ramsay revealed that he would be visiting Singapore.

And sure enough, on Jan. 16, Ramsay tweeted a pic of himself dining at Bread Street Kitchen in Marina Bay Sands, where he tucked into a plate of fish and chips.

Bread Street Kitchen is one of Gordon Ramsay's restaurants that serves British European cuisine. Its Marina Bay branch opened in 2015.

Ramsay previously visited the restaurant back in March 2017, where he was part of the judging panel for the inaugural MBS Culinary Olympics.

At least he seemed more positive about this dish than the other Singaporean fish and chips that he previously rated in May 2017.

The dish, which was served at LeVel33, Marina Bay Financial Centre, was actually priced at S$13++. But it elicited this famous response from Ramsay:
