Amos Yee has been kicked out of the rented place he had been staying at in Chicago, Illonis.

He revealed this was the result of him voicing his controversial pro-paedophilia opinions.

In two YouTube videos, he shared details of his eviction.

Reason of eviction

In his Dec. 2, 2017 video, Yee said the place he was at had other foster children and the host could no longer put him up in the same place as the rest of them:

Why? Because of my views on paedophilia.

The host of this house was perfectly fine with my opinions. He didn't agree with it, but he didn't think that it was violent or really harmful and you shouldn't hate a person just for that one opinion. So, he was fine with the opinion, he was still willing to host me in this house.

But who isn't fine with those opinions, however, was child protection services. Because you see, the host who gave me this free place, he is so generous, that he hosts lots of foster kids in this house too. And so, child protection services, sometimes, they come over and they do background checks on the people who live in this house to ensure that children have a nice environment to live in.

So, of course, in this day and age, if you look at a person who is promoting paedophilia, you think that it is dangerous for the kids.

I am getting kicked out of this house, I have to move out by Dec. 21, which means, I need a new place to stay. So, if any American is willing to provide me a free place to stay...

Crashing on couch

In a follow video on Dec. 11, Yee wrote that he is currently in Minnesota, sleeping on the couch of modern day hippies.

He did not elaborate how he ended up there.

Yee also posted on Facebook the requirements for his next rented place.

He said he is willing to have the place for free, or pay up to $400.

It should also allow him to make videos and the place must be close to eateries he can walk or bike to as he cannot drive.

Yee had previously received death threats for his pro-paedophilia views.
